Damaged axle spline

Damaged axle spline
Changing out the front axle u-joints today on my '98 XJ and I carelessly damaged a couple of the splines on the outer driver side axle.
This is the best picture I could get with my crappy cell phone camera.
Do I need to replace the entire part with that amount of damage or will it not make much difference?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
