Going to be picking up a non disco hi pinion D 30 to replace the low pinion in my 01 XJ.
I know the HP D30 im getting will have the 260 shafts in it (early 90's)...
Will the low pinion D30 im pulling out of the 01 have the newer 297 or 760 Spicer U-joints and will they work in the HP D30?

If I remember right it depends on wether it is abs or not. Abs axles had bigger joints in them.

pretty sure all 2000 and 2001's had the larger joints. shafts will swap over no problem.

84-88 will have the 260 small u-joints, 89-94 without ABS is 260 u-joints, 89-94 with ABS is the 297 u-joint, 95 and up are all 297 u-joints. And as 01limited stated, the shafts a will swap over.
