Default Cutting Out

Well i just recently finished swapping out my 2.5L for a 4.0 and it has ran great for the last couple weeks. I've run it around doin all the basic testing to make sure there weren't any problems.

The problem:I took my jeep out with my fiance and her family yesterday around and it ran great until half way through the trip. Now whenever i hit a bump in the road or anything to jar my jeep a little it completely cuts out and then jumps right back up. However there are a few occasions when it will totally die after hitting a bump. Also, when i am in low range and put it in reverse it will totally die unless i stay on the throttle a little bit while going into reverse but it doesn't do it going into drive. I've run through my engine compartment and made sure all the connections were plugged together tight and checked the fuel pump connector. They all seem good. I think it's some sort of fuel problem but to be honest it's got me totally stumped. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Did yours seem to do it all the time or when you went over bumps?

yeah it would do it when i hit bumps, but it would do it when i let off the gas at all. when i would stop i would have to throw it in neutraland give it gas so it wouldnt die and brake at the same time, it was really weird.

CPS or Igniton Coil, or loose wire(s)
what year is the engine?
while it is running, wiggle the wires , componets, ect.

After tracing the CPS wires towards the bell housing i discovered that they had wiggled their way down in between my exhaust manifold and firewall, therefore melting through the wires causing it to ground out. So it wasn't the plug but the wires shorting out. Thanx much for the idea to check that!
