Cutting off rear quarters....

I have a 92 Limited model and it is getting quite a bit of rust. I am trying to buy a MIG welder and I am thinking about just cutting out the rear quarters.
I have seen this done on several cherokees and I am just wondering what to expect. I plan to take it off up to, or close to, the bottom of the rear tail lights.
What can I expect to have to do to patch the hole that I make?

Could you post pics if you have done this?

Keep in mind that this jeep is 17 years old and I don't care much about the cosmetics but I do want to get rid of some of the cancer, and I kinda like the looks of the Cherokees with the rear quarters cut out.

Any help would be great before I jump into this.
Thanks,
Bryan

http://www.naxja.org Go here and search for things such as "Cut and Fold Quarter Panel" and "Comp Cut", should find all you need. I myself am going to do cut and fold the lower quarters very soon and then someday move up to the comp cut style straight back from the highest part of the well.

I tried the NAXJA forum. I registered and it still wouldn't let me do a search...
There are over 40,000 threads in just one section, if I can't do a search I can't use that forum. It looks like a great forum but I couldn't use it to my advantage. Thanks though.
I was wondering if anyone here has done it and if so what can I expect or if anyone could post pics of what they did.

That will help. I tried to find it myself and got lost on that forum. I bookmarked for now until it gets warmer out then I will do it.
Thanks
