Default cruise control

'99 Cherokee cruise control doesn't work, can't find any bad fuses or obvious vacuum line issues, any suggestions ? What is the best way to check for power to the switch and or the unit ?

twice ive had the lil hose near the battery go

its like 4 in long and right along the fender, iirc has a right angle connector

any tips on testing the power to the switch at the steering wheel or at the unit ?

have you tried holding the brake pedal up with your foot, brake switch can be finicky
