Cricket noise from footwell...Bearing? Vid link
Hey guys,
Started getting this really strange noise about a month ago, sounds like a cricket in my dash.
The noise seems to get louder in the footwell, especially when cold, quietens when warm, but still there.
Its there at idle, so cant be wheel bearing, and becomes louder as I apply throttle.
At first I thought bearing, then vacuum, I'm not really sure,(not brake booster, checked that) cant hear anything in the engine bay, it way too loud.
I've put my stethoscope on my rear main bearing, definitely doesn't sound awesome, has a bit of a grind too, but only audible with stethoscope.
Got a 2000 4.0 I6 147k on the clock
Any suggestions would be epic, vid link below and turn up the volume...thanks!
