Default Crazy front vibration????

Ok went wheeling for the first time maybe 3 months ago and really didn't drive the jeep much since, just been sitting waiting on lift. Drove it last week and the frontend felt like it was about to fall out from 60 mph and above. Started Thursday on my lift and once under started inspecting a few things and one that has me puzzled. If I grab the driveshaft and try and move it I can see the shaft with the yoke on it coming from the front dif moving up down left right. Not a extreme amount of movement but enough to think something is wrong. Am I right or is it normal to have play in it ?

That is not normal to have play in the pinion like that. You can try and tighten it down but chances are very strong that the front diff needs to be rebuilt

Kinda thought this myself. What would wear to have play there ?
