Default Could this cause my lose of gears?

I had to put a new gasket in my valve body and ever since I put it back together it only reverses and and drives in first 5% of the time. Well now with the time to look back into it I noticed one of the valve body to case bolts was loose. Could this make me lose reverse and first? Or could it be that I placed a check ball in the wrong spot. I didn't get to put new o rings on the solenoids yet and could I be losing all the pressure there? Thanks for all the help.

All of the above. You listed most of the possibilities. now you just need to figure out which of them it is.

So it's probably in my best interest to take down the valve body and check the check *****. I was fairly certain they were in the right seats but I've been wrong before.

Does anyone know where I might find something that shows the check ball locations?
