I have seen many people pick up the taurus dual fan set-up and then just wire a switch into the dash may be an option to look at.

The only problem with a switch is my wife drives this to lol but i did many of my other toys that way i just did not no my electric fan i have now kicks on and off alot ??? just curious of options thanks for that route i might be goin to the jy this week

It should kick on with the AC and when your temps hit 220*. Someone else can chime in here, but yours might be controlled by the ECM.

Ya it kicks in around 210 but it runs like a 10 sec cycle :dunno:
with air and defrost off ?? wierd to me

I recently bought a Dodge/Plymouth Neon dual fan from a wrecked Neon for $20. The fans have 3 wires running to them and the way they work is one goes to ground one goes to power when you turn the key on which starts up one fan on high and one on slow then when power goes to the other wire (from the electric fan in there now) they both go to high and pull less amps then the factory one in the jeep. The measurements are 12 inches high by 30 inches long so it fits perfect in place of both fans. I am trying to get this in by friday and do a write-up on it...Tj

Which year/model of neon did you get it from?

Supposedly the 97+ fans pull more CFM than the previous years, you could run a 2nd OEM fan on a temp switch/override switch and also install a switch for the stock aux fan as well for more cooling.

Here's a couple things I've found about the electric fans.
