so i noticed the other night my cooling fan is no longer omong on, with the a/c or hot. i checked for power and fan, nothing, but have ground. the fan works when jumped. removed the rellay. checked for continuity. and clciks when activated. I have 2 powers and 2 grounds at relay with engine hot and a/c on. the fan should be on. ive noticed on the energize circut the ground will activate but them is lost, I am assuming this is the ground coming from the pcm? I have been having a hard time finding a wiring diagram that i know is for a 2000 cherokee. but i believe the power is always there and the ground is controlled by the ecm to activate the relay.... anyone know a good wiring diagram? only step left to check is the ecm grounds. fan good, relay good, swaped with another and same thing, wiring to fan is good, fuses are good. if i supply ground to the left pin (looking over pass fender i think pin 30.... fan comes on. no codes, just fan inop. thanks for your time.

 

if the compressor for ac is not coming on the fan will not either

 

the compressor comes on, when the a/c is on.

 

have you tried switching out the relay

 

Seems like an electrical issue for me... Make sure that the relays and wiring are all good...
