Default coolant leak

I have a 2001 Cherokee and I have a coolant leak but no one seems to know where it is or where the coolant is going. I've taken it to Big O tires and to a recommended place (by big O) for leaks, but niether seem to be able to find a leak. There are no puddles on the ground and nothing is leaking from the heater or even inside the jeep.

I'm having to put coolant in about every 2 weeks, any ideas on where its going?!

Being its a 2001, chances are, its a cracked head. Remove the oil-fill cap, with a bright flashlight and engine running, look down fill hole, you should see coolant seeping, providing theres not a lot of sludge buildup on the head, if there is buildup, scrape away the gunk and check again.

01 with the 331 head (by memory thats getting senile) is prone to developing a crack between cyl 3 and 4. Best of luck that it's not. The wife's 01 WJ and my cousin's 01 XJ both had it happen. With the wife's i was putting in a couple quarts a month for a while, and it finally showed up under the oil fill cap. End result, new head, gasket, and several greenbacks, and the problem has been fixed for the last 130 kmiles. Good luck!
