coolant help

coolant help
So i recently did a coolant flush, along with a new thermostat.. but i just filled the coolant up while the engine was off in my garage, not thiking. So now when i start it up, and let it idle the coolant over flow bottle will start to boil over and seep through the cap after about 5 minutes.. any help would be so greatly apreciated..
