Default Control arm drop

Has anyone used/bought this kit and used it at all? I`m just wondering how good this deal is...is it any thing close to a long arm flexability or no? thanks

i have been looking at there setup for a while but i think i will just go with the rustys long arm setup later on instead to get the better off road flex. the control arm drop come close but the long arm set up is still better for off roading as long as you make sure to limit the travel

the long arms is definitely going to give you better flex the drop kit will be using the control arms you already have so you wont be gaining much flex from it just better angles on your control arms

Hmmm, $185 isn't bad. Long arms are great when you need more travel. But if you want lift and a good ride and don't intend to do hard trails, the drop brackets don't look too bad price wise. I would certainly use some aftermarket lower arms at the very least.

I ran a set of RE drops on my zj with 5" of lift for a while. They made it ride a lot better, on and off road. There was definitely a gain in flex. Not as much as my friend with LA's, but better then with just the RE arms I had alone. Worth putting on if you have 3.5 or higher lift IMO.

If you have the $$$$ do LA's. I think the DB,s will work real good for you. Will definitely improve your ride quality. They usually sell for 125-175 used, so put them on for now, and sell them later when you can afford la's...
