Computer display issue
 

Hi, I've just bought a 1998 Cherokee Ltd. The computer display lights up when I start it, but fades in and out after a short time and displays fadeding info about 2wd/4wd before turning the display off completely. Any ideas?

Could be a poor connection on the backside, or the cluster itself is bad. The connectors can become loose, or corroded. To remove the cluster, the bezel around the radio just pops out. Grab the two lower corners and pull.
