I want to replace the engine bay wiring harness in 2000 4x4 4.0 automatic XJ the part number the dealer gave me is 56041499AC and you can no longer buy a new one from any dealership. I have searched and searched the web for a new one. No luck yet. There are a lot of used ones on Ebay but I sure would like new if they are out there. Any suggestions on where i might could find a new one. Thanks in advance!

 

Finding a New Old Stock (NOS) one is unlikely. My parts guide says this is for an XJ with 4WD w/ 231 or 242 Transfer Case, Federal emissions. Does this match your XJ?

If you don't like getting one from ebay, you can try to search for one on https://car-part.com/index.htm. Enter the details and select the wiring harness and see if there's a yard near you.

Yes it is. Just been spliced on many times over the years prior to me owning it. I am making my next hunting vehicle. I want it done right. Thank you very much for responding. Much appreciated
