I have a 1994 2dr Cherokee that has been my crawler for months and is now broke in many place at one time making very unusable so i got a 86 2dr for free and was gonna use it to make half doors prerunner fenders and anything else i can think of. Whats good to make outa one jeep to put on other? and some one remind me how to add pics i forgot how.

The 6Bt is roughly a 34" cube, taking into account all the hoses, piping, and other external nonsense, and with the fan off. While it could be done, you'd really have to shoehorn and massage it into that engine bay.

yeah thats what I figured. I just would rather not have to say I drive a 4 banger. I did some rough measuring with my RV engine cause it has one. the only prob I found is that a 6bt weighs 3 times more than a 4.0

oh definitely using truck springs from either a f150 of the ones out of a dodge 1500 cause i may use a dodge d44 cause they are already coil. But one thing is how much frame modifying do I need to do and how should I strengthen it properly? I mean they put the 6bt in YJ's but they have full frame.

I've decided a different path on combining my cherokee with my 85 Grand Wagoneer axles and possibly use frame on that as a base for my 6bt cummins idea for my XJ.
