cold start knock
I did a quick search and came up with nothing. My question is- What would cause a 4.0L with 130,000 mi to knock once or twice when the starter is cranking and its below freezing? when its warm it does not do this... its got me a bit puzzled.

alot of cars will do this,it is caused by thick oil and lack of oil film between beraing journals and crankshaft,i would suggest a thin grade oil and a block heater.
