replaced the coil for the fourth time in three years on my 87 cherokee
the problem seems to be moisture getting in the coil wire at the coil then when its gets cold it freezes and cracks the coil. I took off the plastic shield so the moisture could evaporate better after the third coil and same problem a few days ago. Any suggestions on ways to avoid the problem?
This time I put a bit of silicone around the coil wire on both ends to try and seal the coil wire to the coil.
