Coaxial Cable
I have a coaxial cable that runs to my antenna for my cb, and it had a really bad short in it. I dont have any $$ so i had to do a hillbilly job.
i got some speaker wire, (two 14g wires in seperate insulation with a big insulation over it) and spliced it into the coaxial cable.
Im just wundering if this is safe. i KNOW that it isnt ideal and not my best option, but im just checking to make sure it isnt going to go up in flames in the first 5 min...
the cb im using is a 1975 high range, its not that complex like some of the ones yall might be running... idk if that even makes a diff... but anywy... lol
thanks alot
