clutch safety switch

i bought my cherokee more than a year ago and since ive owned it i have been able to start it without the clutch. im assuming this is something the original owner did and i want to put it back to needing the clutch to start. ive searched under the dash and found 1 female connector on the drivers side near the clutch pedal but nowhere on the clutch to plug it into. ive also found a second female connector by the gas pedal. highly doubt thats it. and one more by the clutch that could be a connector but looks like a fuse holder. i want to know if anyone can tell me where the connector is and where it goes to. a picture would be very helpful also. thanks

also its a 95 cherokee sport. not sure if the year matters but cant hurt to add that

nope, that's how it's supposed to be. There is no clutch safety switch on our year XJ.

I have a 95 sport too and I dont have a clutch safety switch, didnt have it when i bought it. It doesn't bother me and i use it to start in gear on trails, if needed.

alright thanks for the quick responses guys. it never really bothered me just trying to sort out the mess of wires under the dash. so does anyone know what the connectors mentioned are? their both small green ones. 2 connectors inside i beleive

don't worry about rouge connectors. Jeep liked to use standard wiring harnesses across a wide variety of configurations. Every jeep is bound to have several connectors that go nowhere. Mine has about 10 at last check.
