Default Cluncking sound in the steering wheel.

Along the steering wheel and some other parts related steering. It is making a clunking sound right at the steering wheel area. At least it sounds like it does and I can feel it. What could it be? Something loose under the dash where the joints attach to? I'm asking to see if this is a common problem or not.

Check your u-joints on your steeringshaft. Also look for loose suspension parts.

It's like right at the steering wheel itself. But I will check the joints just in case.

Check everything along the steering line, probably worn out bushings...

Steering box attachment bolts could be loose, or a crack in the frame at the box.

Do you have an adjustable track bar?

The rattle can travel and feel like and sound like its where it isnt. If that makes sense. It does in my head.

mabe the stering wheel is just loose or most likely the joints are bad and when they turn they hit and make the noise that you hear
