Is a 93 cherokee a closed or open radatior system

 

Open. The only closed loop systems were the Renix years (87-90).

 

thank you i hate a closed system im about to buy a 93.

 

Nothing wrong with closed loop systems if they've been properly maintained. They just get a bad rap from those that don't understand them. I've had mine for 4 years now and have never once gotten it over 215 deg f.

 

It makes it a pain to flush and dianose a problem like the cap or the overflow tank

 

my closed sytem runs 190 degree's. it took me a few flushes to get the hang of it but now, its liek any other system
