clicking while in 4x4

so as I am in the process of swapping out the tranny ( going to FN jeep tomorrow to get it ) but I have started hearing a somewhat quite ticking noice while in 4lo so I thought about switching out the Tcase as well while I've got everything open
u-joints looked ok ( at least I think)
either way don't want switch out the Tcase if if there is no need. oh dont have lockers yet to create the ticking I find while googling about it

yes all 7 but they looked solid that's why I thought maybe the chain was starting to stretch possibly. I will give them another look before heading down the hill

I don't believe the chain being loose would cause a click. It could be any of the joints or even the centering ball in the double cardan at the front of transfer case.
