jacking up body to put a 4 in lift on...
how did u jack up ur body high enough to put ur lift on... i was thinking 4 or 6 cinder blocks but i know they will breakk.. please help.. dont tell me u used a real mechanics hydraulic rotary what ever the hell jack cus i dont know if i can get to one with out getting fired from work...

well if your lifting for your coils, get a coil spacer there like 40 bucks. or you can "borrow" one from advance auto parts. or you can just take the whole axle off. when i put my 2" on i just lifted it on the axle as far as it would go with a 3 ton floor jack. then put my stands on these weird 4x16 blocks i have sitting in my garage. and put them on the unibody.

I just used a standard jack and a giant wood block.
one spring at a time... latley have been have the opposite issue on motor swaps

yeah cus with my 3 1/2 ton it seems like it will make it but doesnt even get the wheels off the ground with my 2in lift rite now.. do u think cinderblocks will break??

do not use cinderblocks. my uncle has a jacked face because a cinderblock broke and the hub came down on the side of his face. i can say he has a jacked face because he calls it that and hes my uncle.

use jack stands, not too hard. cinder blocks will work but if they break you could have gotten the good jacks at hf for 69 bucks. idk about you but my life is worth 69 bucks.

just get your wheel off
take of the coil and shock
put the new coil and shock in.
Drop your truck onto somthing high enough, like a large wood block... or a part of a tree truck
move onto the other side and do the same... do your break lines and put your wheels back on... come back and post when you have the front done and enjoy your caddy lean
And dont be a dumbass and hit your jack
And dont be a dumbass and drop your truck to fast and bend a rotor
And jackstands are your friend
take of the coil and shock

first buy almost any auto magazine and you will find a harbor freight coupon page take the 20% off of purchase coupon then go to harbor freight and almost always they have their huge 6ton jack stands that will hold an xj plenty high enough for $40 usually and a 3.5 ton jack for like $60 part of owning and lifting a jeep requires budgeting for proper tools and such along with budgeting for mods
