Choking at 2000rpms?
Recently bought my 98 Cherokee and not long after I noticed when I was on the highway cruising at about 100 km/h the jeep would feel like it would start to choke pretty aggressively, and almost like it was stalling and then would stop soon after. I also noticed the rpms jumping back and forth from 2k to 3k when this was happening.
I noticed it again last night, when I eventually got off the highway and started cruising at around 40-60 km/h the engine light kicked on and it started doing it again. I stopped, turned off the jeep, let it sit, started it back up and it was running fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. |
