Choking at 2000rpms?

Recently bought my 98 Cherokee and not long after I noticed when I was on the highway cruising at about 100 km/h the jeep would feel like it would start to choke pretty aggressively, and almost like it was stalling and then would stop soon after. I also noticed the rpms jumping back and forth from 2k to 3k when this was happening.

I noticed it again last night, when I eventually got off the highway and started cruising at around 40-60 km/h the engine light kicked on and it started doing it again. I stopped, turned off the jeep, let it sit, started it back up and it was running fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Didn't search hard enough, it was the tps. screw had came loose, just needed to be tightened. cleared the code.
