Chirping noise

I have this chirping noise that come from the front of my 99 XJ. I thought it was the belt but after looking at it today, it only happens when the defrost is on. What could be wrong. My dad thinks its the compressed but we're not sure. Thanks

It can be the belt. When your defroster is on it kick the ac compressor on. Does it do it when the ac is on?
