ok, i have a 93' xj with the 4.0, aw4 trans, two questions
1st, i want to chip the motor, the only problem is the only chip i found that i like is made by unichip, but like all great things there is a catch, it is for the same model year but for the 93 wrangler same 4.0 and same trans. hears a link http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...04&partID=5061 i have been doing some research, and the ecu's are the same that part is simple, but when i got into wiring diagrams i found that some terminals on the wireing harness are switched around (kind of odd since the computers are identical ,maybie there are 2 personalities programed into the ecu) i just curious if it will still work? also are the plugs the same on the engine and firewall, or is there a better chip out there that will be easier with the same estimated performance (maybie reprogrammed ecu?)
2nd i heard i can take out my stock injecter and replaced them with ford 5.0 injectors, is that true? and will i notice any performance?

edge makes a tuner for cherokees, it comes in a package with a throttle body and an intake system, but its pretty expensive... and jet performance makes a chip for cherokees, its around $240
