Default Cherokee Wont Start, Alarm on the fritz?

Hello CF, I have been browsing awhile now but for the first time decided to make an account and post.

I have a '94 Grand Cherokee 4.0L with just under 100k miles.
The Jeep has been running great until the last 2 or 3 weeks. Occasionally (1-2 times a week) upon opening the door the Alarm would go off and I was unable to shut it off, with the key or the Fob (I have never used the fob until trying to deactivate the alarm). During this time the dash lights, head lights, interior lights, and HUD will all flash in unison to the beat of the alarm, the antenna will also do the same. After 15 minutes of noise it stopped and decided to behave itself for a couple days.

Now however the car will not start, when the key is turned the ignition kicks in, car fires up for about 1 second of idle then immediately dies. The security light comes on and the light show begins again - but no alarm.

My dad (who is a far better mechanic that I) came over and poked around, we tried removing the fuses that we though would have any impact on the security system, but that either had no effect or made it worse. My dad had thought for a moment that there was an issue with the fuel pump, but then that could again be part of the security system shut off.

TLDR; My security system is not letting my car run for more than a moment, we as both clueless Jeep newbies have no idea where to even begin to reset or even just disconnect the security system as I never use it anyway.

Thanks in advance for the any replies and this great forum.

I had this happen to me in my s-10. One time it stranded me a block from work(it stayed there for a month(I thought it was the fuel pump so I pulled the gas tank and had the fuel pump tested, then took it to a shop and it started right up. The mechanic I took it too had no idea what was wrong so he did nothing)) and after it happened in a parking lot durring a strong down poor of rain when I just got 50 bucks in groceries, I took it to have the alarm removed.
