Default Cherokee won’t start

Jeep was driving perfectly fine, no issues while driving then took it to get state inspection and jeep turned off when employee put it in drive and wouldn’t turn back on. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Any ideas?

I suggest you provide more info than a 5 sec vid.

Are you saying it starts in Park but dies when you slip into D? Or will it no longer start?

sorry it wouldn’t let me load a longer video.
When it started turning off it’s because the worker put it in drive. Now the car won’t fully crank

You could upload to youtube or icloud or google photos/drive and send us a link.

- If your starter won't engage at all
- Check the battery
- Make sure the terminals are rust free, especially the grounding wires. You may think why would it happen out of no where, it does. That was the fix for my problem. Take a bronze brush and clear out all the rust build up.

- If your start is working but the engine won't fire up
- If you see the RPMs not going up, it is probably the CPS
- Otherwise, make sure you have fuel pressure.

As said, check for fuel and spark.
