check engine light on and only change gear at 5000rpm

i need a picture of the vacuum hoses in a 1989 jeep cherokee please because i think they are put in wrong because when i push the gas it sonuds like its starving for gas if you know what the problem is please tell me

idle hight around 1500rpm disconect the tps sensor idle come back correct

tps sensor most times makes the trucks hop from 500 to 2000rpm, but has a affect on the kick down/ shifting of the trans. It is possible. Any chance you have a autozone near by theyll read the code for free. good luck!
