Well this isnt the place to say hello and im new too the cherokee forum but im starting off on this website in a really bad situation. I bought my first car a Jeep cherokee sport 1998 4.0l 6 cylinder a few months back. As of january 1st it has ran out of inspection. My problem is now solving how to get my check engine light to go off. Ive went to autozone today and found out that i have three codes on, P0700, P0463, and P0705, those codes are as follows, Failed fuel level sending unit which autozone told im going to need a new fuel pump which was a cost of $231.00 which i figured i mighgt be able to find cheeper else where, and then the second code which would be Failed Transmission range sensor, which i didnt get a price on nor could he find one at the store. Where could i find a transmission range sensor? and can anyone ffind a cheeper fuel pump or a way for me to get my check engine light off so i can pass inspection please and thank you soo much!
