Check engine code 41

Getting code 41 when I pull the codes on my 95. Code chart states "Alternator field control circuit open or shorted".

So I'm guessing bad connection somewhere in the charging circuit??? Or bad alternator???

Any other ideas or places to check?

Get the alt. tested,and go from there.

definitely the alternator. id buy new too. i went through 3 used before learning my lesson haha
