Mine has threads that the ant screws on and then unscrew the peice under that, it looks like a washer with teeth, you might have to take the fender off but I got away with using two skinny nuts locked together on the threads and unscrewed it enough to get some needle nose pliers under it to hold the bottom still. after you get the old one off its pretty easy though.

maybe you can reach by pulling hte plastic off from inside the wheel well? from there, it should be pretty easy to just pull the old one out and send the new one in its place

I had an auto antenna in my laredo. I took that whole assembly out and replaced it through the wheel well with one like yours. there is actually a connection on the passenger side behind the knee blocker. on that connection one side goes to the head unit and the other goes to the antenna mast. very simple fix and you shouldn't really have to disassemble much maybe pull the wheel well lining out to get your arm through or just remove the fender flare. no need to remove the entire fender.

I found this out when tearing mine apart. inscrewed with wrench and then you have to pull the fender off and the cord out about 6 inches out of your jeep(there is slack) and then unplug the plug
