I have a cherokee, 6.5 inch long arm. This thing was all over the road, fricken scary. Got a alignment, and toe was 1/8 toed out. They fixed it and it is alot better. Now my problem caster was at 2.9, and 3.0. I already rolled axle back once. my dv angle is comfortable to me.
Well my question is, is that enough caster, I dont have to white knuckle the wheel any more, but it is still not as controllable as I would like. And a little bumpsteer.

When you dial the axle forward, it takes more effort to turn but the wheels return to center faster. When you dial the axle backwards, its easier to steer but the wheels don't return to center as fast. That's the basics of caster. That's one of those things that you have to find your "comfort" setting by trial and error.
