Car won't run and it's stuck at work. Please Help ASAP
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport
This morning, it had a little bit of a hard time starting and it was the first time this year the temperature was in the low 30's. Tonight, I went to start the car and the battery seemed to be dead. The voltage stayed at 9 on the guage. I had a buddy hook up jumper cables and the voltage still wouldn't go up. I adjusted the cables and I was able to get it to start. Once it started, it stalls every time I let go of the throttle and than the battery dies again. If I hold the throttle in to rev the engine, it stays running until I release it, and it stalls.
A side not that might help: In the past, I have had an issue a few times where I get in the vehicle and the battery appears completely dead but when I wiggle the battery terminal, my power comes back. I did try doing this again and it did not fix the problem.
Anyone have any ideas? Even if the battery is dead or the cables are loose, once its running that shoudn't matter, right?

Well first go check all your connections on the battery and make sure the terminals are tight on the posts. Have someone jump it off for you again if needed

Get the battery post cleaner tool and clean the connections.
Can you use a multimeter to check current while it's running?
12V while off, and 13-14V while running, right?
