Ok so just got a 89 xj 4.0 5 speed 4x4 and I can't get my foot on the gas with out hitting the brake because it is so close to the trans tunnel. Is there another year of peddles that I can swap in to fix this problem? If not I'm going to have to sell this thing because it's so bad.

Hmmmmm. Usually you figure that stuff out during the test drive. Got me stumped dude. Shouldn't have that problem unless you're driving in clown shoes.

I got it stupid cheap that's the only resin I got this one. If I'm in regular tennis shoes it's not bad but my work boots I have to take off so I don't wreck it lol

I know what you mean. I have size 11 EEE shoes and it is tight. I was thinking of taking the sawz-all to the brake pedal and making it narrower. If you see a Chevette in your travels, they had the same issue. I think they were leaving too much room for the clutch.

The pedals being offset to the left doesn't help either.
