Can I mount my 33 BFG Mud Terrain tire on the rear door?
I hat ehaving to undo the latch and swinf the tire open whenever I have to go in there. This is my daily driver and it is anoying. I was wondering if I cut the bar off of the bumper mount and weld it to the back door as long as I mount it high do you think the door struts will hold it up? It eould be reslly nice to be able to just press the button and have it go up not swing out. Ahh the riggers if driving a Jeep. Any suggestions besides puttin it on the roof would be great.

will it damage to roof if It just put it up the on the sheet metal and strap her dow
I need all of the clearance so I can get into my garage. Probably to tall with a 33' tire on the roof. I only have 82" clearance in my garage.

not all rears are fiberglass but you will find it very hard to lift your tailgait with a 33 on it and no matter what you do nothing will hold it open it will also damage the hinge holding the door, tyre probs weights more than the tailgate strapping it to your roof is a super bad idea it will buckle and bend that roof like a beer car not to mention paint damage the rear bumper bracket is the best option you could have something fabed up to mount it on the front i have seen this but looks a bit stupid
