K thanks guys! Just wasnt sure cuz i know i can put oil in an outo trans if needed so wasnt sure about the tc.

Really? I was under the understanding that motor oil is way thicker, a completely different make up and would cause excessive friction damaging all the hydraulics.. Everything I've read says if you put oil in the trans to get it flushed asap.
Sounds contrary to logic.

Am I wrong or can oil be substituted?

You can only use what is called for.
