soo my air cond. dont work, and i really dont want it. so i wanna pull the whole asembly off- plus it will help get a lot of non needed wires out of the engine bay. but when i pull it off the belt is gonna be too big. soo is there a smaller belt from a diff. vehicle that will fit? or am i just crazy

 

I think there is dummy pulley they install in its please

 

but if i completly remove the pully-will i get i little more ***** power? or no

 

Not much. And you probably need the pulley there to keep everything spinning the right way.

 

why not turn it into onboard air

 

Just buy a belt for your year XJ with out Air. I've seen some with dummy pulleys and some with out..
