Mine is clogged and spitting blow by into air filter. Can I clean it and unclog it instead of buying a new valve cover?

You don't need a new valve cover just replace the elbow, make sure to get a new grommet also. Pretty sure oreillys will have everything you need... if not

My CCV components were all clear but I continued to get blowby oil in the air filter until I cleaned the fitting on the manifold that the rear hose connects to. Just a stiff wire or similar. I couldn't believe the effect cleaning that tiny fitting had.

Just clean it with solvent and a piece of wire?

1. Remove valve cover
2. Clean the inside of it until you can eat out of it
3. Replace each and every CCV component (grommets, hoses) Total cost (last time I checked) is about $60
4. Replace your valve cover with a new gasket
5. Have a cool adult beverage with the knowledge that your CCV system is working well!

They're available new for about $8. Come with a new grommet.

Also may be worthwhile clicking on my link below and going to post #25 and 22.
