Can anyone identify these parts which dropped out my engine bay? :-0
1998 XJ 2.5TD
Hi folks, well..after a brief clattering in the engine bay, whilst driving along, I discovered these parts lying in the road (see attached) they appear to be shim adjusters of some sort. I've got no idea where they came from LOL - tis a mystery, as they obviously fit onto a shaft of some sort - but I can't find anything amiss under/around the truck!
Hope someone can help identify;-) ps the Jeep still runs fine..

Cheers, yep - I did consider that..though I noticed the bolts which hold the cooling fan to the pulley had worked loose: the pattern of the shims seems to match that of the housing - though how on earth these could fall out without the fan falling off lol.
