cam brg question

I am rebuilding my first 4.0 that had a cracked head with bad cam bearings,
I only want to only do this 1 time.
My question is what is everybody thought on the best cam bearings to use.
thanks.

If the cam bearings are bad then so is the cam. Anytime you have to go after cam bearings it is best to think about a whole matched kit. New Cam, New bearings, and new lifters because you never put in a new Cam without new lifters.

You may already know this, but it takes a special tool to drive new cam bearings in and the back plug will have to come out to remove and replace these bearings so the engine needs to be out of the car to do it.
