A/C electrical problem

A/C electrical problem
Having an issue with my a/c on my 98 Cherokee. Went to charge it back up and run a/c compressor kicked on for split second and stopped, checked fuse and relay. Checked power and ground on relay. The coil control for relay ground side pin 86 was not showing good ground. Could jump relay and kick compressor on. Pulled pcm connector c1 off. Checked all the pins until I found one with continuity to pin 86 for a/c relay. Could Ground it and make clutch kick in. Suspect computer. Put computer from my 99 in,still the same problem. Scan tool shows a/c on when you turn switch on. But a/c demand shows off not sure what else can keep the a/c from coming both high and low pressure switch are normally open I believe, still nothing with them unplugged

Clean your grounds, first. The PCM grounds to the engine block on the same plate as the battery ground.
