Default Bulb replacement

Hello my jeep overlords,

While the SO is away at school she called me with a problem, the right rear turn signal on her 2000 Cherokee is out, and she asked if she could replace it. I know she can and she fairly adept, but can you guys help me out?

any tricks or things I should know?

If someone could post a cliffnotes walk thru Id be eternally greatfull

and you'd score me some points

HELP

Same happened to me, turned out that the base was not touching to the holder, i jus screw it in more, just have to take out the screws and the whole thing comes out, i believe it was the 2nd or third bulb down not sure, jus pull out the bulb to see if its burnt out, if it is replace and if not jus make sure it makes contact, well thats how my 88 is, not sure if its the same set up.

Check the bulb and if it is bad replace it. If it is good and making good contact then you might check the ground. If it needs an extra ground then find a place and wire in a second ground. Not too complicated!!

well physically you have to look for a screw driver and look for the screws that hold the tail light in, lol. its easy jus take out the screws and the whole tail light comes out its like a rectangular box, check which one is the bad bulb or jus inspect each one, each bulb comes right out. like blue said if nothing works it could be a bad ground or no ground at all.
Piece of cake, let us know what happens.

Yeah, open the hatch and you will see the mounting screws for the tailight.

More than likely the wiring is OK, the bulb just burned out.
