Need Engine Wiring Harness for '95
Where can I get a new engine wiring harness for a '95 cherokee? My best friend is in the United Arab Emirates, and the engine wiring harness on his chrokee is fried. Evidently desert life doesn't agree with his jeep. He told me he can't get a harness over there, since the jeep is so old - something about the local dealer can't get those parts. So, I went to my local dealer and found out he's right.
So...where can I get an engine wiring harness for a '95?

No luck. Worse, at jeeppartsdept.com, I was able to complete the order, only to get "Order declined. This item is discontinued and no inventory left available. Thank you"
I'll give rockauto a shot next. Then, tomorrow, I'll stop by one of the local Jeep dealers and see if they've got any oddball ideas. I don't want to go the junkyard route since, if there's something wrong, by best friend is going to have to mail it back, then I'll have to hope I can return it, and/or get another, THEN mail back to the U.A.E., etc. Oh, and he's a professor, a professor who is VERY literate with history, but NOT so much with mechanicals. Which is why I NEVER had to buy beer when I was in college (Changing a thermostat was a mysterious and amazing thing to him, let alone brakes or a lift...)
