So during the swap, one of the 3-4 really brittle plugs up and craps it self. Well, the little feet in it decide they just wanted to break is more like it, but long story short, the plug is broken...
It still plugs and seals, but there is nothing "locking" it into place.
My question is: Has anyone ever replaced a plug before, or what methods are used for installing a new plug.
I searched a few thread sections here but didn't find what I was searching under. (broken injector plug, broken plug, etc....)
It's currently zip tied and it's working, but for who knows how long. I'd like to replace it if there's a way to do it without replacing the whole injector harness.

There are a lot of plugs that will work. I forget exactly how I wired mine but I have plugs from a dodge ram on mine. They look and function the same exact on my 784 injectors.

I did my '00. I am going to assume you have the EV6 connectors but not sure. So are you talking about the little red locking tab being broke? Is so do not even worry about it they will stay on fine. Or are you talking about the actual connector? If so you can just buy new ones and splice them in. Think this is the one you would want.

Think I'll hit up a JY that's really close and see if they've got something newer that's got some decent plugs and get a few of them.
Mine did have the red clippy things, not a big deal on those, but the #1 plug broke off the actual holding tabs, so it looks like soldering a new one in will be the easiest. I think I'll be tacking that one and let the girl stick to the other stuff. Here's what they look like and my fix for the broken one.
