One of local guys on Naxja was able each the rod from under the heep.

If that doesn't work, you will have to pull the headlight bezels and the headlight cans. When pulling the cans, just undo the spring and they will pop out and not affect the aim of the headlights. There are two bolts on the hood catch brackets. One behind the headlight and one above. Pull the bolts and the hood will come open.

i have a similar problem on my jeep except i cant get the rear hatch open and i do need to haul some stuff soon ive been trying for monthst to get it open if ne one has suggestion for that i would really apeciate it....srry i didnt mean to thread hijack
