Broke off flush with head!

Ok, having some minor issues here...

When I changed my valve cover gasket two weeks ago, I accidently snapped the electrical connector off the temperature sender at the back of the head. It didn't leak, so I drove around for a week not knowing what my engine temp was.

Last weekend I bought a new temperature sending unit. I got a wrench on the old one, and went to loosen it.

It snapped off flush with the head. :brickwall:

Thankfully, it's still not leaking.

Anyone got any clue how to get this bastard out, now? Without removing the head? :dunno:

Take an extractor and cut it down with the die grinder and weld the new shorty to a old socket or nut so you can reach it.
The shorty extractor that are already made are hard to use because you need some pressure on them.
