Could try!!! right now my return line tube on fuel pump is holding due to J-B weld. And it went through one hell of a test labor day weekend(bouncing around on some whoops and a hard crash into a ditch)... Still holding with no leaks!!!! Clean surface really good and then again with some rubbing alcohol before applying

Yeah I picked up some JB Weld 2 tube epoxy for Plastic...says plumbing and automotive..think I'll gob a big bit of it on and see what happens.

Thanks for the amazon link, the picture seems to show the nipple on the backside and mine seems to be on the side, thinking maybe mine was already frankenstiened ...maybe time to head to the boneyard...looks like the reservoir comes off fairly easy just a couple clips

Bone yard is probably best. Amazon says it won't fit my 98 so I doubt it'd fit your 97.

And I'm sorry but "Broke my Nipple..." is just a funny title haha

I did get this resolved but was so covered in ps fluid I neglected to update. Well the JB Weld was a waste of 8 good dollars/. Leaked immediately and irreversibly. So I broke down for a new one (rebuilt, I guess Cardone). Luckily the guy rented me the puller/installer tool which was brand new to r&r the old pulley. Still, that was a chore but it beats using a hammer which surely would devastate it. Also took quite a bit of force to get it on the shaft, and lucky I had a half inch impact to drive it with, I don't think I had that much brute force left in my arms, trust me it was a chore.
Anyhow filled it with atf+4. Worked fine, no leaks, the little tiny O ring they give you for the pressure line fitting you WILL need and if you over tighten that it will leak. I was lucky and went slow.
That all being said, ...it does have a slight growl when turning hard. I guess that's either a fluid mismatch, or a bad rebuild. But it beats pumping out going down the road.

i broke mine about 10 years ago. used JB quick and it's still holding strong.
