About a month ago, drove a couple miles to get some gas. Turned the Jeep off, filled up, and Jeep would not start, turned over but would not start. Had it towed home. Put a new factory CPS(Mopar) on it, fired right up. Tonight, same problem. Turned it off, filled it up, no start, cranks but no start. Tow truck shows up, I explained what happened, he asked, does it have an alarm? I said the factory 2 button key fob/panic alarm, so I guess yes. He pushed the fob and locked the doors, then pushed the fob twice to unlock the doors. Inserted the key, and it fired right up. Any clues as to what is actually happening? Is the key fob just a coincidence?

I was having problems with my factory alarm. It seems to have a mind of its own. I ended up keeping it in valet mode all of the time and really haven't had a problem.

The other problem I ran into was that I made a spare set of keys for my wife. One time I couldn't find the set with the fob, and used my wifes keys to manually unlock the door and start the jeep. It started right up, drove a mile and it died. Would crank but not start. Walked home, found the set with the fob, came back to the jeep, locked and unlocked, started right up. Are you always using the fob to unlock the doors? If not, I am guess you ran into the issue I did.

I think the fob was coincidental, I did the poor man prime, and it would seem, that is where the issue is. Can anyone tell me if there is a fuel pressure regulator in the engine bay, if so, where?
